TOWN OF LA VALLE NOTICE OF SPRING ELECTION APRIL 6, 2010 STATE OF WISCONSIN) TOWN OF LA VALLE) COUNTY OF SAUK) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at an election to be held in the Town of La Valle, on the first Tuesday of April, 2010, being the sixth day of said month, the following officers are to be elected: A TOWN BOARD SUPERVISOR, (Supervisor II) for the term of two years, to succeed Karen Geitz, whose term will expire on April 13, 2010 A TOWN BOARD SUPERVISOR, (Supervisor IV) for the term of two years, to succeed James Lucht, whose term will expire on April 13, 2010 NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, that the first day to circulate nomination papers is Thursday, December 1, 2009, and the final day for filing nomination papers in the office of the Town Clerk is 4:00 PM on Monday, January 5, 2010. The final day for incumbent officeholders to file notification of non-candidacy to inform filing officer of intent not to run for re-election is 4:00 P. M. Monday December 28, 2009. (Failure to notify will extend deadline for filing nomination papers 72 hours for that office.) A NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, that if a primary is necessary, the primary will be held on the third Tuesday of February, 2010 being the sixteenth of said month. GIVEN under my hand.
