How To Report Flood Damage!!!!!
It is very important to get this information out to the public so that they contact Emergency Management. FEMA will use this information to determine if a Presidential declaration is necessary as well as the local knowledge of where assistance is needed.
If you have flood or rain related damage to your property please contact Sauk County Emergency Management at 608-355-3200. Please report everything.

Do I need a parking permit for the boat landings?
Yes. Anytime of the year if you are parking at the boat landings you will need to purchase a parking permit and have it displayed on your vehicle. Permits can be purchased at many location in the town and village stores.
What are the hours at the drop off site (recycle/garbage)?
Site Hours
April 1st. – Nov.30th.
Sat. 8:00 am. – NOON
Wed. & Sun.
2:00 pm. – 6:00pm.
Dec. 1st. – March 31st.
Sat. 8:00 am. – Noon.
Sun. 1:00 pm. – 4:00 pm.

Do I have to recycle?
Yes. If you're not sure the site will take an item check with the staff prior to bringing it to the site. They will advise you if they will accept it, or if they do not accept it.
What permits do I need to build (garage or house), add on to my house?
You will need to get a building permit at the Town Hall and depending on what structure is being applied for you may need permits from the county.
Do I need a permit to put a driveway in?
Yes, you will need to get a driveway permit from the clerk's office. Inspection has to be completed prior to work being started.
