NOTICE OF PUBLIC BUDGET HEARING
FOR THE TOWN OF LA VALLE, SAUK COUNTY

Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, November 17, 2009, at 7:00 PM
at the 
La Valle Town Hall a PUBLIC HEARING on the PROPOSED 2010 BUDGET of the
Town of 
La Valle in Sauk County will be held. Details of the posted proposed
budget are available in the Clerk's Office, Monday, Tuesday and
Wednesday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.

NOTICE OF SPECIAL TOWN MEETING
OF THE ELECTORS OF THE 
TOWN OF LA VALLE, SAUK COUNTY

Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, November 17, 2009, immediately
following completion of the Public Hearing on the proposed budget
which begins at 7:00 PM at the La Valle Town Hall, a special town
meeting of the electors called pursuant to Section 60.12(1)(b) of
Wisconsin Statutes by the Town Board for the following purposes will
be held:
1.To set the compensation of the elected town officials for the term
of office beginning with the April 2011 term pursuant to Section 60.32
Wis. Statutes.
2.To authorize the town board to hire the town officers as employees
of the town and set an hourly rate pursuant to Sec. 60.10(1)(g) of
Wis. Statutes.
3.To designate money for donations pursuant to Section 60.10(1) of
Wis. Statutes.
4.To approve highway expenditures (Required when 74.05 miles times
$5,000 is exceeded. Pursuant to Sec.  82.03 of Wis. Statutes)
5.To adopt the 2010 Town tax levy to be paid in 2011 pursuant to
Section 60.10(1)(a) of Wis. Statutes.

	SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING
	
	Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, November 17, 2009,
immediately following the completion of the Special Town Meeting of
the Electors, which shall follow the Public Hearing on the proposed
year 2010 budget, which begins at 7:00 pm at the Town Hall of the Town
of 
	La Valle a town board meeting will be held for the following
purposes:
1.For the town board to discuss and adopt the Year 2010 Budget for the
Town of La Valle.
2.Adjourn
